Token Launches
How to Prepare a Token Launch FAQ
How to write a token launch FAQ that answers real questions, reduces support load and protects users from scams, with a list of essential questions and update tips.

During a token launch, the same questions arrive hundreds of times. When does trading start? Which contract is real? Why can I not see my tokens? Where is the official pool? Without a clear FAQ, moderators repeat themselves endlessly, users grow frustrated and scammers step in with fake answers. A good launch FAQ solves most of this before launch day begins.
Where to publish it
Publish the FAQ on your official website, ideally on a dedicated launch page. Link it from:
- Pinned messages in Discord and Telegram
- Your X profile and launch announcement thread
- Your documentation site
- Moderator canned responses
Keep one canonical version and link to it everywhere rather than copying text into many places.
Essential questions to answer
Group questions by topic.
Launch basics
- What is the token for?
- When does the launch happen, in UTC?
- On which chain does the token launch?
- Where can I trade it?
Official information
- What is the official contract address?
- What is the official pool or trading pair?
- Which social accounts and websites are official?
- How will the team never contact me?
Distribution and vesting
- What is the total supply and allocation?
- When do team, investor and treasury tokens unlock?
- How does the airdrop or claim work, if there is one?
- What if I missed the claim window?
Wallet help
- Why can I not see my tokens in my wallet?
- How do I add the token to my wallet safely?
- Which networks and bridges are supported?
- What should I do if I sent tokens to the wrong address?
Safety
- How do I recognise fake tokens and fake sites?
- What should I do if I think I was scammed?
Write answers that are short and specific
Good FAQ answers are brief and concrete:
| Vague answer | Specific answer |
|---|---|
| Trading starts soon | Trading opens at 14:00 UTC on launch day |
| Check our socials for the contract | The official contract is listed at the top of this page |
| Tokens will appear eventually | Tokens appear after you add the contract address in your wallet |
| Be careful of scams | We never DM first and never ask for seed phrases |
Where an answer needs detail, link to a longer guide.
Explain wallet visibility clearly
One of the most common launch questions is why tokens are missing from wallets. Explain that many wallets do not display new tokens automatically, and show how to add a token using the official contract address. Warn users never to import tokens from addresses shared in replies or DMs.
Include safety prominently
Put safety guidance near the top:
- The team never DMs first
- Claiming never requires approving your existing tokens
- Official links appear only on this website
- Nobody legitimate asks for seed phrases
Update during launch
Questions change as launch day unfolds. Assign one person to update the FAQ with new questions and answers. Add a "last updated" time at the top so users know the information is current.
Review after launch
After the first week, review which questions were most common and which answers caused confusion. Update the FAQ for future users and reuse the structure for later launches and product releases.
Link to independent references
An FAQ is most trusted when users can confirm its key facts elsewhere. Keep the contract address and official website consistent across your docs, token lists and public profiles such as a Proud Globe pin, so users can cross-check before interacting with anything.
